La Piazza Duca degli Abruzzi

Piazza Duca degli Abruzzi is the heart of Marina di Ragusa. Found here are lots of restaurants, ice cream shops, cafes, bars and shops.

During the day the square is alive and full of tourists and residents. The Caffe delle Rose on the South side of the square is without a doubt the best place to enjoy breakfast, buy an ice cream, or try wonderful cakes and typical local specialities. For the adventurous, we would also recommend the buffalo gelato available in the piazza.

For an evening apperitivo try Bar Sodo, situated just off the main piazza. This great little bar has a huge range of cocktails, and has a live DJ on Friday and Saturday night. Little in size but huge for fun; a must visit.

Met bar on the promenade also serves good cocktails and stone baked pizzas late into the night, and the huge leather sofas are almost too comfy to leave!
