The coast stretches from Gela to Porto Palo di Capo Passero and offers endless beaches and the opportunity to spend unforgettable days at sea. The waters around Sicily attract many travellers looking to kitesurf, windsurf or paddle board. Thanks to Sicily's location these sports can be practised all year round.

Marina di Ragusa

Marina di Ragusa is a beautiful village on the Mediterranean coast, directly opposite Malta. It is famed for its beautiful beaches and lively night life, and boasts pizzerias, gelaterias and cafes in abundance. If getting away from the English language is what you're after, Marina is everything you need.

Ancient coins have been found in the village, indicating Roman and Byzantine presence, and the impressive watch tower on the promenade was built as a look out for pirates!

Southern Sicily

The rugged coasts of Southern Sicily are more than on par with their northern neighbours. The South is still somewhat off the beaten track; we'd recommend exploring for yourself before the secret gets out!
